Times Tables Rock Stars – Making Times Tables Fun!

At our school, we use Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS) to help children master their times tables in a fun, engaging, and effective way. Regular practice of multiplication and division facts is essential, as quick recall supports many areas of maths, including fractions, division, and problem-solving.

TTRS is an online programme (also available as an app) where children become rock stars, earning coins and improving their status as they play games and complete times tables challenges. The more they practise, the faster and more accurate they become.

Each child has a personal login and can practise at home and in school. The app cleverly adapts to focus on the times tables your child needs most, helping to build speed and confidence over time. There are individual and class competitions, weekly leaderboards, and occasional whole-school battles to keep motivation high.

We encourage all children to use TTRS regularly—just 5 minutes a day can make a big difference! Whether your child is just starting out with 2s and 10s, or aiming to recall all tables up to 12 × 12 in under 3 seconds, TTRS makes practice feel like play.
