Home learning Tuesday 10th February

We are so sorry that the school building has to be closed today and we are working hard to sort this out. In the meantime, below are some home learning options. We are missing you and looking forward to seeing you soon.

Home learning ideas due school closure.

As part of our TWITCH reading, we have been reading The Gingerbread Man. I have attached a link that you can follow where you can ask your child some questions about this story.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m00158jj/bbc-philharmonic-the-musical-story-of-the-gingerbread-man

Who are the characters in the story?

What is the story about?

What happens next?

What has just happened?

As part of our phonics, we have been developing our sound knowledge. I have attached a link that you can follow where you can identify the different environmental sounds.

You can ask your child questions such as, what is this sound? What sound does this make? Can you make this sound?

You could observe your surroundings, what can you see out of the window or door? What sounds can you hear? What colours can you see? Describe the weather.

Sort and matching pairs of socks based on colour, pattern and size.
