People Who Help Us!
This half term we have enjoyed learning about different festivals and celebrations. We explored the festival of light Diwali and Bonfire Night. We made our very own diva lamps using clay and carefully decorated them. We looked carefully at Rangoli patterns and had a go at making our own patterns. The children loved exploring stories about Diwali and loved finding out about how people celebrate Diwali e.g. decorate their homes, wear beautiful clothes and eat tasty food. We created our own firework art and enjoyed exploring different colours.
We made our own representations of poppies for Remembrance Day.
