Wonderful feedback

Following the Choir's visit to Pennington Court this week, we received this lovely email from a resident's family member who was at the home at the same time, visiting his Grandma:

"I was visiting my grandma today at Pennington court when your pupils arrived to sing Christmas songs. I have to say the children were an absolute credit to your school. All the elderly people thoroughly enjoyed the excellent singing and seemed to really appreciate the children speaking to them afterwards and wishing everyone merry Christmas regardless of creed, colour, race or religion. My grandma is 91 and is suffering quite badly with dementia. It was a delight to see her singing along and smiling, she was almost back to her old self again for those few minutes.

Sharing at Harvest Time

Our children and families continue to show how thoughtful they are once again at this years Harvest Appeal. The children brought in a mini mountain of tins and packets of food, that will be taken to St George's Crypt and the Salvation Army organisations, so that it can be shared amongst people in the local community that would benefit from this help.

MacMillan Coffee Morning

A big thank you to all our families who once again were very generous for our MacMillan Coffee Morning charity event. They baked and bought lots of yummy cakes and buns as well as joining us for a cuppa and a sample of the delicious treats. A fabulous £147.50 was raised altogether.
