Mrs Britton came to the classroom, with a shiny gold challenge envelope. This was Year 4's first challenge so we were all very excited. We accepted the challenge by ringing our challenge bell to start.

Our challenge is to use our words to bring joy, laughter and maybe even tears by becoming a published poet. 

We learned about different types of poems and had a go at writing our own. We then picked our best and favourite poem to be either written on some special paper or typed up, ready to be published.
