Welcome to Oak and Elder Class!

We have lots of exciting learning, trips and experiences in the year ahead and we look forward to sharing this with you on our class page. 

Your child needs to bring their own named water bottle to school every day (water only).

Please come to school wearing P.E. kits on MONDAYS.

If you have any questions, please feel free to speak to a member of staff in Oak or Elder Class, contact the office or speak to a member of staff on the gates who will be happy to help. 

Home learning tasks:

- Pupils to read 5x a week for 10 minutes and sign in their yellow reading record as evidence. Where possible, reading to an adult and asking them different comprehension questions will be beneficial to their progress.

- Weekly spelling homework at home (they will come home with their spelling list on a Monday) and bring in their spelling list on a Friday for their weekly 'spelling challenge' sessions. 

- Please make sure your child has opportunities to practise their times tables on TT rockstars and completes reading/SpaG/math tasks on their SATs Companion account.
