Multilingual Learning

Here at Lane End Primary School we are passionate about celebrating diversity whilst being inclusive.

Our aim, as a school, is to make sure that all of our children make progress and this includes our multilingual children.

At Lane End we have our very own bespoke class, Chestnut class, that is designed to help our multilingual learners experience the same learning opportunities as their peers but at their own pace, this in turn will also give them the chance to reach their full potential.

As well as our Chestnut class we use a variety of strategies across school. Here are some of our multilingual children telling you all about the strategies they use to help them learn.
