Can we cause an explosion?
For our topic on volcanoes our challenge was to see if we could cause an explosion. Rowan and Maple classes went to the wildlife garden where Mr Black and Mr Fletcher had bought us coke and mentos for our experiment. We used our science brains to predict what might happen and then we watched the coke fizz, bubble and burst out! The coke leaked down the bottle just like real lava running down the side of a volcano.
