Can I be a survivor?
For this challenge Rowan class had to survive the day at Skelton Grange, escaping from the pesky pirates. We worked as a team to cross the river using stepping stones. Next we learnt some survival skills. We built shelters to keep us dry from the rain and we started fires to keep us warm. After that we used our brains to problem solve. We had to work out how to get the treasure from one side of the island to the other, whilst trying to sneak past the pirates. If we were caught we had to hand over our treasure. All the children managed to make it off the island safely and return to school in one piece!
