Dear Parents and community,

At Lane End Primary, all Governors, staff, parents and children work together as a team, aiming to build success, all in an environment which values everybody as an individual.

As a school we are proud of our young people and their personal and academic achievements.

As Governors at Lane End we are involved in all aspects of school life. These include ensuring financial stability for the school, building and ground maintenance as well as appointment of new staff. However we consider the welfare and educational attainment of our young people as one of the most important.

I would like to offer my thanks to all the parents who encourage and actively support their children as well as the school as we strive to ensure the best outcomes for everybody. In a good school, such as ours, it is pleasing to see parents take a great interest in their child’s learning and development.

Governors are appointed to ensure that objectives are met and that planning for the future is both visionary and realistic. We are here to support and encourage our Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and all school personnel so that children have access to an enriched education and the opportunities they deserve.
