‘Learn and Believe, Aspire and Achieve’

Did Grandad have an Xbox?

Star of the week!

In maths we have been learning all about fractions - how to recognise and find half of an object, shape and quantity!

In Science. we searched the environment for things made of these materials: wood, plastic, glass and metal.

In DT we explored sliders and levers in some moving picture books. We talked about why it is good to have books with moving pictures.

In PE we are practicing for Sports Day!

In Hostory, we explored some toys from the past and talked about how they were made.

In computing we are learning more about programming - we've been changing the speed of sprites as they race across a background.

More fractions - finding a quarter of objects and numbers.

More maths!

In Science we tested different materials to see if they were waterproof or not.

We then did an experiment to find out which material would be best to make an umbrella for Teddy!

In DT we made sliders and levers for our moving pictures!

Our slider and lever moving picture designs!

In Science we sorted objects into transparent and opaque.

In maths we have been measuring, height, length, capacity and weight.

Teddy Bear's Picnic :)
