Christmas (with a Brazil Christmas!)
For this great time of year we filled our final week of school in 2021 with lots of fun Christmas activities, including a live virtual Christmas panto, reading cabin for a Christmas read accompanied with a hot chocolate, and the favourite; the Christmas disco! :D
As part of the Christmas festivities, we also did lots of research and collecting of our own facts about the Christmas traditions of Brazil! We learnt that Brazil hosts the tallest Christmas tree in thr world, that many people take part in a midnight mass, and even that Santa wears silk when travelling to Brazil because of the hot weather!
As part of the cultural celebration we created our own baubles with the flag of Brazil! The Maples did a great job!
