Why are countries hot and cold?
As part of our study of birds, we were lucky enough to take part in a clay workshop with our pottery expert Sam. The children had an amazing day and created a wonderful array of ceramic birds and tiles.
This term we embarked on a special and very exciting project! Our challenge was to investigate and study birds by specifically looking at birds within mythology and folklore. The main focus of this investigation has been art, to use art as a vehicle in which to learn and absorb ourselves in everything 'Bird'! We will carry on our study in Summer 2 and will welcome parents to come and view our work at the end of the term.
