Welcome to our Lane End World Litter Challenge!

This challenge started in the Spring of 2023 when our school council members noticed that our outdoor areas in school and in our local community were surrounded by rubbish and litter.

All our pupils at Lane End are thoughtful and kind individuals and wanted to improve this. The school council set about trying to inspire others.

Step 1 - School Art Competition - Design a poster about litter picking and caring for our planet

Step 2 - Each poster was judged by our school council members with support from our local counsillor Ed Carlisle

Step 3 - Prizes and awards given for winning designs

Step 4 - Litter picking teams set up in school to help pick up any litter which has blown into our school grounds.

Step 5 - Raise awareness and spread the message on a global scale!

Please can you join our challenge.......?

Spread the word and ask family/friends who live in other countries to print off one of our posters (below) and put it up in their local community.

Please send us a picture of the poster up and let us know your location.

We would like to have one of our posters up in all 195 countries across the world!
