We are so sorry that the school building has to be closed today and we are working hard to sort this out.

In the meantime, below are some home learning options. We are missing you and look forward to seeing you soon.

Home Learning Wednesday 11th February 2026

Please click on the link below to access some home learning tasks to complete for the rest of the time that children are not in school.

Maths: Please find a variety of Maths work your child can access

Writing: The children has been focusing on their sentence structure this term alongside their letter formation. Use the sheet below to guide you through writing sentences.

REMEMBER our letter formation especially our: a, p, n, m, d and g.

Science - The children have been learning all about forces. See if they can design a poster using all the knowledge they've learnt. If you need some reminders look at the PDF below.

Geography - Last week the children really enjoyed designing their very own settlements using everything we have learnt. Challenge them by asking them to design a settlement for the future.

If guidance is needed please use the slides below.

Welcome to Rowan and Maple Class

We have lots of exciting learning, trips and experiences in the year ahead and we look forward to sharing this with you on our class page.

Your child needs to bring their own named water bottle to school every day (water only).

Please come to school wearing P.E. kits on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

If you have any questions, please feel free to speak to a member of staff in Rowan or Maple Class, contact the office or speak to a member of staff on the gates who will be happy to help.
