Year 2
Home Learning
Hi everyone! We are so sorry that the school building has to be closed today and are working hard to sort this out.
In the meantime, below are some home learning options. We are missing you and looking forward to seeing you soon. Love the Year 2 Team :)
Please continue to read your reading books daily- whether its your Collins hub book or a book at home as it is so important. Below are some tips to how to support your child with their reading whilst not in school.
There are some new assignments on Doodle Maths too! Use your log in cards to get started on some 2D and 3D shape revision.
If you want to get a little creative, why not rummage through some of your recycling and see what you can cut, tear and rip. Make a collage like we have in class! If you can't stick the pieces down, just take a photo! Here a few ideas below:

Finally, as we know you love learning how to draw, here is a fun tutorial of how to draw the snail and the whale! Enjoy!

Welcome to Year 2!
We have lots of exciting learning, trips and experiences in the year ahead and we look forward to sharing this with you on our class page.
Your child needs to bring their own named water bottle to school every day (water only), as well as their reading book bag.
Please come to school wearing P.E. kits on Fridays.
If you have any questions, please feel free to speak to a member of staff in Aspen or Hawthorn Class, contact the office or speak to a member of staff on the gates who will be happy to help.
