Our trip to Murton Park really kicked off the new term with a bang! All the children enjoyed been Vikings for a day, the teachers had to be their slaves but thankfully our 'masters' were super kind and respectful to us. Look out for the pictures in our challenge number 2.

In PHSE we are learning about democracy and soon the children will be meeting Hilary Benn, the elected member for Beeston area.

Who knows maybe a future prime minister of United Kingdom may be sitting in Cherry class at this moment.

We are all moving on with our swimming skills and this week we will be learning about water safety.

Christmas in Spain.

 Cherry class chose to research how the Spanish community celebrated Christmas.

This was because we learn Spanish at Lane End and

one of our adult members of the class is Spanish too.
