How does your garden grow?

BINGO! All of 1B took part in Easter Bingo this week! What a brilliant time was had by all of us. Lots of chocolate and finding numbers.....very quickly!

The children enjoyed a drama workshop with The British Library and a theme of The Story Explorers. The children fully immersed themselves in the experience! getting into character and threw themselves into it.

The 1b artists have been at it again! Inspired by the natural world, the children have been learning how to create observational drawings this term. This means drawing what they can see, looking very closely at their subject matter. They have been drawing spring flowers and houseplants, using sketching pencils, pastels, pen and ink and watercolours. The children absolutely loved this and the results are wonderful!

The Flower Fairies and The Beeston Fairies came out of hibernation and visited 1B this term and they brought with them, wonder and joy. Quietly creeping in on fairy ladders and spider silk, they left the children small treasures every day!

Well, what an wonderful term it has been! The children were busy in the garden spotting plants and wild flowers. They have been growing their own seeds and watching them grow.

This is what the learning looks like for the term ahead!
