Monday 8th June - Talk challenge: Who are they?
We love to find out about people in nursery as we develop an interest in different occupations, people and ways of life.
Here's a picture of a well-known African-American woman called Katherine Johnson. I would like you to find out why she is known for and why she is important in history.
Wednesday 10th June - Art Attack: Artist Study
We'll explore the artist Jerrell Gibbs, born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1988.
Jerrell Gibbs’s paintings highlight important memories, often depicting people with whom he has important relationships in portraits.
What do you think about them? How do they make you feel?
I would like you to paint or draw some pictures of people who are important to you and have happy memories of. Talk to your adult about who the people in your drawings are and what you remember or know about them.
