Week 12 - If you go down to the woods today.

Dear Children and Parents,

This will be our final final family learning challenge before the Summer holidays.  We want to tell you how amazing you have all been keeping up with your learning at home.

Your teachers have loved seeing all the photographs of you completing the challenges together.

By now you will have picked up your printed work pack for you to use through the summer.

Best Wishes,

We look forward to seeing you all back in school on the 7th September!

This weeks starting activities...

If you can take a walk in the woods at Middleton Park. Alternatively walk to Cross flats park or walk through the avenue of trees behind St Luke's Primary school.

What can you hear?

What can you smell?

If you go on a rainy day it will smell differently to a sunny day!

Middleton woods are an ancient woodland.

What does the word ancient mean? And what does that tell you about many of the trees there?
