Can I follow the journey of a raindrop?

Spring 2 overview

In science we started by sorting objects into liquids, solids and gases. We were surprised to discover that honey is a liquid even though it is viscous and a sponge is a solid, but the spaces inside the sponge are full of air, which is a gas.

We planned and conducted an experiment to discover the melting point of chocolate. We were careful to make it a fair test by only having one variable - the temperature of the water.

World book day - we won the Poetry Slam competition and were given doughnuts to eat whilst we had the first read of school's new poetry collection for the library!

Hazel class loved creating these for vulnerable old people to enjoy whilst they are self isolating.
