Maths

In Year 1 we have learnt to count in multiples of 2s, 5s and 10s. Last week we looked at making equal groups of objects. This week we are going to focus on adding equal groups of objects together.  This prepares children for when they begin to multiply and divide further up in school.

This week you could also have a go at refreshing your addition skills. Remember that when we add two numbers together our answer should always be bigger than the number that we started with!
Below are also some activities to help you practice your number bonds within 10 and up to 20!!!
