Today we were set a very special challenge to celebrate a person who has made a big impact to our world. In Year 1 we were given Mo Farah. As a class we learn lots of facts about him and why he is so inspiring. The children watched some of his most famous races and a video on why Mo started running. We all agreed that he had to work very hard and train every day to win a gold medal at the Olympics. We even ran our own Lane End marathon!
"He trains very hard."
"Mo Farah was born in Somalia."
"He was born in Somalia but he came to England when he was 8."
"He has children."
"He won the Olympics."
