Learning about the mosque
Following our fun visit to a church last half term, we have explored what we would see in a mosque. It was so interesting to hear some of our children tell us about their experiences of going to their mosque. We really enjoyed drawing and painting different parts of the mosque such as the minbar, mihrab and minaret. Some of us made fantastic box models, and clay versions of a minaret.
We love reading in Elm and what better way to celebrate that than World Book Day! The children came dressed as their favourite characters and then completed a stop, drop and read at different points in the day.
